Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation

We are proud to welcome the Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation (APHF) as our 2025 and 2026 Charity of Choice. For seven decades, Ajax Pickering Hospital has been a pillar of health in our community and APHF works tirelessly to ensure this legacy of care continues. The organization strives to help save lives, restore health and provide compassionate care by raising funds that directly benefit the patients at the Ajax Pickering Hospital and the Jerry Coughlan Health & Wellness Centre, as well as the residents of Lakeridge Gardens Long-Term Care Home.

Funds raised during The Ajax Mayor’s Gala’s 2 year commitment, will be used to purchase multiple Automatic Drug Dispensing Units for the surgical and medical units at the Ajax Pickering Hospital.  By automating the process, the dispensing cabinets ensure unparalleled accuracy and precision in medication administration, minimize the risk of adverse drug events and enhance patient outcomes. The Automatic Drug Dispensing Units are impactful to every patient cared for at the Hospital.
